This year, you have the option to choose between week 1, week 2 or stay for both! As the two retreats are hosted in different location, this is a unique opportunity to explore and experience more of this beautiful island.
At Glød Yoga Retreats we aspire to create the ultimate getaway experience. Our retreats are designed to reset your nervous system, make new friends, explore the magical island of Bali and clarify the next chapter of your life. You will leave this retreat feeling rejuvenated, rested and re-energized. We start every morning with an uplifting practice and journaling exercise, and end each day with a calming meditation, yin yoga, yoga nidra or sound healing session. Week 1: March 1st-7th 2026
in Uluwatu Bali
Uluwatu is known for it’s white beaches, nice surf and breathtaking sunsets. This week is all about mindful movement, yoga, pilates, yin yoga, and meditations such as yoga nidra and sound journeys.
We are staying close to the beach, surrounded by palmtrees and a fresh ocean breeze. In our private boutique hotel, we have a private pool, sauna, ice-bath and spa (massage included).
Join to share fresh coconuts on the beach in the stunning Uluwatu sunset, or to witness the traditional Kecak Fire Dance (a Balinese performance with locals chanting, and wearing beautiful costumes).
Week 2: March 8th-14th 2026
in Ubud, Bali
Ubud is known for its lush tropical jungle, diverse animal kingdom, and sacred traditions. This close-to-nature, eco-luxury retreat is a one-of-a-kind experience. Join for our water-cleansing ritual at the Tirta Empul Temple, and learn to cook food like a local.
Our retreat is nestled deep in the Ubud jungle, surrounded by tropical forest, rivers, and the serenity of the wild nature. In our private boutique hotel, we have a private pool, sauna, ice-bath and spa (massage included). This is the perfect place to deepen your practice, reset your nervous system and feel the difference.

On the coast of Uluwatu in Bali
Week 1 of the Glød Yoga retreat takes place in stunning Uluwatu, known for its white sandy beaches, dramatic cliffs, and magical sunsets. This retreat is all about movement, lightness, and coastal vitality.
Each day includes energizing Vinyasa yoga or Pilates sessions, balanced with slower evening practices like Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra or sound journeys. You’ll enjoy activities such as visits to Uluwatu Temple, and the famous Kecak fire dance at sunset, fresh coconuts at the beach at sunset and delicious visits to our favorite restaurants.
The setting is a beautiful boutique hotel with private pool, sauna, ice bath, and spa. Nourishing meals and ocean air complete the experience, helping you fully recharge.

Welcome to Salty Prana, your tranquil sanctuary in Uluwatu, Bali. Join us for a trip to Dreamland Beach to enjoy the stunning balinese sunset with a freshly cut coconut.
If you would like to do a surf class, we recommend doing it on this day. They have very good surf lessons on Dreamland Beach.

Join us for trip to Uluwatu Temple, a beautiful, 1.000 years old balinese temple, nestled on the edge of a cliff. With stunning views, white beaches and a beautiful sunset, we will be guided by a local guide inside the temple.
Inside the temple, the locals preform “Kecak Fire Dance” which is a traditional storytelling play, with chanting, roleplay and beautiful costumes. It’s funny, fascinating and very entertainment. All this, with a scenic sunset in the background.
You’ll also have the pleasure of saying hi to the local residences - the famous but also very cheeky monkeys.

You’ll have plenty of time to explore Uluwatu’s stunning white beaches, such as Dreamland Beach, Bingin Beach, Melasti Beach and Nyang Nyang Beach, only to name a few.
Uluwatu is also known for it’s luxury shopping and cute cafès. Indulge in high quality linen clothing or a fancy new bikini, before hitting the beach.

Deep in the jungle of Ubud
Week 2 of the Glød Yoga retreat takes you deep into the lush jungles of Ubud, Bali’s spiritual heart. This retreat is designed for those seeking a more reflective, soulful experience. Each day begins with energizing yoga and ends with calming practices like meditation, sound healing, or a sacred cacao ceremony.
We’ll explore personal growth through mindful journaling, and you’ll be guided through a powerful Balinese water cleansing ritual at Tirta Empul Temple. Between sessions, relax by the pool, unwind in the sauna or ice bath, and nourish your body with wholesome, locally sourced meals.
This week invites you to step away from daily demands, slow down, and reconnect with your inner self in a setting that encourages peace, clarity, and deeper presence.
You can join this week on its own, or combine it with Week 1 in Uluwatu for the full Bali journey.






Basundari is a serene retreat venue nestled in the heart of Ubud, Bali, offering a harmonious blend of nature and comfort. Surrounded by lush jungle and rice fields, this eco-conscious sanctuary features uniquely designed rooms accommodating up to 20 guests. Guests can immerse themselves in wellness with amenities such as a 65m² yoga shala, two scenic pools—including one with an infinity view—and a Finnish sauna. The venue also offers an ice bath, meditation spots, and a café. Glød Yoga AS
Travelling with Glød Yoga is a safe way to explore Bali. Glød Yoga is a proud member of the “Reisegarantifondet”, and follows Norwegian laws and regulations. “Reisegarantifonded” is a security for both Glød Yoga and all it’s travellers, if something unpredictable would get in the way of the retreat.
On Glød Yoga’s retreat, you’ll travel with experienced and certified teachers. They are teachers with passion - who is trained to see all levels and accomodate different needs in the group.
Glød Yoga was founded by Tora Årberg in 2020. Tora is the owner the boutique yoga & wellness studio in Frogner in Oslo and is an experienced retreat-host. She has developed her own clothing line, professional yogamats and equipment, and is continuing to build and develop her business.
Tora creates retreats with passion, focusing on the individual experience. She will invite talented teachers to share wisdom with you on the retreat. Tora experienced the magic of Bali when she first visited in 2015 - when she was studying for her masters degree in Singapore. She fell in love with Bali’s abundance in fresh fruits, lush jungle and beautiful beaches. She was fascinated by the friendly people and colorful culture - and have been returning every year since. She is excited for you to experience this beautiful practice in a stunning location.

Anyone looking to dive deep into their own yoga practice and self-reflection. This retreat is a combination of relaxing, activities, exploring the island of Bali and spending time with like-minded people. This retreat is suitable for ages 20-70.
More than 50% of attendees are traveling solo. The group will be mostly women, but men are also welcome! Some are traveling with a friend or family member, others with a loved one - but the majority are traveling alone. We will have plenty of time to get to know each other, and we can’t wait to meet all of you!

No, every participant must see to book their own transportation (airfare).
A return ticket to Bali from Norway is about 10-15.000kr

You will fly into Denpasar to the Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Some like to arrive in Bali a few days a head, and some like to stay a few days extra, others are only traveling for the retreat. First, you have to decide which dates you would like to travel.
Our best advice on finding the best tickets is to use search engines, such as momondo.com, to find the best and cheapest tickets. But, we recommend that you buy the tickets directly from the airline. Airlines will help you if your luggage is lost or your filght is delayed - thirdparty search engines will not.
The retreat is starting around 6pm on Sunday night, and is finished after breakfast (11.00) saturday morning. So make sure you are in Bali that time so you don’t miss anything.

You can take a taxi, or ask us to arrange transportation. Our retreat center is about an hour drive from the airport.
We recommend ordering transportation with us. The airport in Bali si filled with taxis and it can be hard to know who to trust. After a long trip it nice to be greeted by someone who knows your name and knows where you’re going. Just look out for the sign with your name on it :)

November is a good time to visit Bali. Mostly sunny with occasional rainfall. Rain can be heavy at this time of the year, creating a serene and calm atmosphere. It's still hot although the rain picks up a little as the month goes on. The average temperature is 27°C with lows of 23°C and highs of 31°.

Normally, two participants will be sharing a room. Each room can have two single beds (90x200) or one double bed (180x200). You can also choose private room or quad room (4 beds).

Yes, we will separate men and women in the lodging arrangements. Unless you ask us to be in the same room.

Yoga sessions cater to all ranges of experiences, so be sure to give it a try! Yoga sessions are held daily, so there will be plenty of time to become familiar with the practices. Our teachers will give options for every level.

Yes, getting a visa is easy and you can purchase a VOA (Visa On Arrival) after you land in Bali and make your way through the Airport Process (for passport holders from Scandinavia, Australia, etc).
You can also purchase your VOA online before departure, and save time on the airport (E-VoA).

Free, stable and high-speed WiFi is provided. However, due to our remote location, the signal can be temperamental in a developing country.

70% of attendees are traveling solo. The group will be mostly women, but men are also welcome. Some are traveling with a friend or family member, others with a loved one - but the majority are traveling alone. We will have plenty of time to get to know each other, and we can’t wait to meet all of you!

To book, you pay 5.000kr as a non-refundable deposit. This can be done on the booking site where you choose your accomodation.
3 months before departure, you’ll find an invoice on the remaining amount in your inbox.If you need to split the payment, just ask us and we’ll find a solution.

It depends on your health and how far you are in your pregnancy. The yoga classes, meals and stay are suitable for pregnant women. Our yoga instructs know how to adjust poses for pregnancy. And if you feel tired, you are welcome to skip any of the classes.
Keep in mind that the flight is long, and some airlines refuse pregnant women to board, when it’s less than 4 weeks until the baby is expected.
Please be aware that Zika mosquito can be found in Bali, although very rarely.If you have an uncomplicated pregnancy and are feeling healthy, the yoga retreat is perfectly safe for you to attend. If you are less than 2 months from your due date, we recommend staying at home.
